Additional surface enhancement through polishing (also known as burnishing) can provide even higher surface quality over turn-only product. Many applications require this additional surface quality which is attainable in long bar form. Turned and polished product can provide cost-saving opportunities with regard to quality and material utilization, as it can be cut to length, providing a tight tolerance process blank at or close to finished part dimensions.
BPC provides a wide range of capabilities utilizing high-speed, efficient turning centers providing dimensional control comparable to cold drawn material.
