SAW CUTTING
BPC has a variety of saw cutting equipment. Whether your requirements are slugs to gram weight, length tolerances, or gang cutting of 60 ft. bundles, BPC has the equipment to meet your target needs while providing the most efficient cutting process. Bundle cutting with band saws is a highly efficient and cost effective method for processing multiple steel bars simultaneously.
BANDSAW CUTTING
- Remove mill sheared ends and prep for downstream operations.
- Provide dead length tolerances, generally 1” tolerance.
- Allows mill to roll longer lengths.
PRECISION SAW CUTTING
- Precision cold sawing of shafts or slugs
- Gram weight tolerance or length specific
- Diameter Range of .625” to 4”
- Lengths from .125” to 120”
- Length Tolerance of +/-.002”
- Squareness equal to or better than the length tolerance (.004”)
